NASCLA is committed to providing the best resources, tools and information through career development opportunities, Annual Meetings and Trainings to individuals, members and those involved in the construction industry. 

Annual Conference

The NASCLA Annual Conference is fast becoming a must attend event for all who are involved in the regulation of the construction industry.  Each year the association's Program Committee and Staff exceed expectations with quality programming and exceptional speakers in outstanding locations.

The conference is a great opportunity for NASCLA members and colleagues to come together to discuss current issues relevant to the regulation of contractors.  The conference also provides a forum for participants to interact and exchange information on licensing issues.  The four day conference is held in the fall in the home state of the current president.

Mid-Year Meeting

NASCLA's Mid Year Meeting is held annually in the springtime for NASCLA’s Executive Committee, Board of Directors, Committee Members and State Members. This meeting has grown over the past few years to include NASCLA Committee Meetings, Training Sessions and NASCLA  / NPI Board Meetings.  

Committee Meeting

NASCLA has nine committees and meetings are held throughout the year in locations all around the country. NASCLA committees meet at least twice a year (at the Mid Year Meeting and Annual Conference) and periodically by teleconference.

Education & Training Programs

In order to ensure the success of our members, NASCLA offers a variety of education and training programs each year.  Seminars, workshops and certification classes are offered during NASCLA Annual Conferences and Mid Year Meetings.  Webinars and additional opportunities will also be offered in the near future.  

Past trainings offered include:

• NASCLA Strategic Planning Seminar,  facilitated by Michael Barrett, Resonance, LLC. 
• EPA Lead Safety for Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) Training Course. 

April 24 - 27, 2012:  NASCLA Mid Year Meeting

May 22 - 24, 2012 :  NASCLA Budgeting Meeting

NASCLA’s Executive Committee and Fiscal Policies and Procedures Committee will meet to review the interim financials and prepare the NASCLA and NPI forecasted budgets for fiscal year 2012/2013.  Visit NASCLA's Committee Meeting home page for more information.
