The National Association of State Contractors Licensing Agencies (NASCLA) was formed in Utah in 1962 as a nonprofit corporation dedicated to the mutual assistance of its members in striving for the better regulation of the construction industry in order to protect the health, welfare and safety of the general public.

The association's membership is comprised of state and local contractor licensing agencies, construction firms, construction trade associations and others associated with the construction industry.

NASCLA recently held our Mid Year Meeting in Portland, Oregon at the historic Heathman Hotel. Portland is a beautiful city known to many as the "Rose City." The location set the tone and precedence for what will be another momentous year for the association.

NASCLA's 2009 Annual Conference Meeting is set for September 15-18, 2009 in Nashville, Tennesse at the Union Station Hotel.

NASCLA holds an Annual Conference every fall which provides our members as well as those involved in the construction industry with the opportunity to come together to discuss issues relevant to the regulation of construction.
