NASCLA offers educational training opportunities each year during the NASCLA Annual Conference.

NASCLA Investigator Training Program

The NASCLA Investigator Training Program is based on the NASCLA Investigator Training Modules developed by the NASCLA Model Legislation Committee. This training program is held in conjunction with the NASCLA Annual Conference and is a great opportunity for agency investigators to receive valuable information from top experts in legal and investigative matters.

Topics during the 2016 NASCLA 1-Day Investigator Training Program included the following:

  • The Investigative Method
  • Report Writing
  • The Investigator Process
  • Testifying at Administrative and Criminal Proceedings

NASCLA Attorney Training Program

New this year, NASCLA will be holding a 3-Hour Attorney Training Program focusing on Ethics for the Regulatory Lawyer during the NASCLA 2017 Annual Conference. This program is based on modules developed by the NASCLA Model Legislation Committee. Additional continuing legal education (CLE) credit will be given.
