Angie Whitaker, Executive Director
Angie Whitaker is currently the National Association of State Contractors Licensing Agencies Executive Director. Angie has worked for the association since February 2003. During this time with the association she has had the opportunity to work firsthand with the NASCLA Executive Officers, Board of Directors and Members.
Angie also manages NASCLA Publications, Inc. an Arizona For-Profit Corporation. NASCLA Publications, Inc. publishes NASCLA Contractors Guides to Business, Law and Project Management publications for over 20 state agencies for candidates that are studying for their contractor’s license.
Angie graduated from Arizona State University with her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication from the Hugh Downs School of Human Communications in December 1999. Angie received her Master Certificate in Business Management from Tulane University Freeman School of Business and recently received her Certified Association Executive (CAE) certification through the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). Angie is active with the Federation of Associations of Regulatory Boards (FARB) and is a FARB Board Member.
Angie is a member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and the Arizona Society of Association Executives (AzSAE).
Kirsten Zacharias, Program Coordinator
Kirsten Zacharias currently serves as NASCLA's Program Coordinator. Kirsten joined the NASCLA Staff in February of 2011. Her primary responsibilities are to work hand in hand with the NASCLA Program Committee to plan, execute and participate in NASCLA meetings and conferences. Kirsten also works closely with NASCLA's Executive Director to carry out association projects. In May of 2005, Kirsten graduated from Arizona State University with her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication.
Fernando O., Publications Coordinator
Fernando joined the NASCLA Staff in October 2010 as NASCLA Publications, Inc. (NPI) Publications Coordinator. He comes from a strong printing and customer service background which will be of great help to NPI. His responsibilities are to oversee NASCLA Publications, Inc. (NPI) customers, accounts and daily activities, as well as assist with the production of new and updated publications.
Fernando maintains the day-to-day administration at the NASCLA office and is looking forward to assisting in future projects for the association.
