After careful consultation with our NASCLA Executive Committee and membership we have made the difficult decision to CANCEL the NASCLA 2020 Annual Conference scheduled for August 30 - September 3, 2020 in Coronado, California. Due to the COVID-19 health concerns, partial lockdowns, prohibition of gatherings for more than ten (10) people, travel bans and budgetary restrictions, we felt this was the best way to proceed during such an unprecedented global situation. We are truly disappointed that we are unable to hold this event for membership, key stakeholders and sponsors. We do believe this is the right decision based on the information we have today. Our team will be reaching out directly to attendees and sponsors with information about applying paid registration fees and sponsorship investments to the NASCLA 2021 Annual Conference or issuance of a full refund.
For those of you that have secured you guest room at Loews Coronado Bay Hotel, your room reservation will be cancelled on Monday, June 1st. The hotel will email you directly with your cancellation confirmation. If you have any questions regarding your reservation, please reach out to the hotel directly at (800) 235-6397.
Until we can meet in person, NASCLA is committed to providing our members with educational trainings and opportunities to stay connected. We are considering incorporating a virtual component to our NASCLA Programs and Events schedule.
Please note, NASCLA recognizes that one of the greatest benefits of being a member is NETWORKING! We miss you and are looking forward to connecting again in person. The NASCLA 2021 Annual Conference is scheduled for August 29 - September 1, 2021 at Boston Marriott Long Wharf in Boston, Massachusetts. In the meantime, these virtual meetings and trainings are a way to keep us socially engaged while staying 6 ft apart.
