The National Association of State Contractors Licensing Agencies (NASCLA) is working to update the job analysis for the NASCLA Accredited Examination for Commercial General Building Contractors which is currently accepted by 17 of the 21 total states/territories that require the trade examination for the Commercial General Building Contractor classification or similar to.
A job analysis forms the basis of the content of the questions on the examination. It is the “blueprint” for the exam. NASCLA is currently in the process of updating the job analysis for the NASCLA Accredited Examination for Commercial General Building Contractors. We would like to request your help as part of the process to update this job analysis by participating in an online survey. This national survey will help to ensure that the licensing examination is an accurate reflection of what commercial general contractors actually do on the job. Your input can make a real difference in the quality of the licensing examination for future commercial general building contractors.
This survey should take around an hour to complete. You may complete the survey in several sittings, if you wish. Please also feel free to share this information below in any upcoming newsletters or correspondence with your colleagues. We would like to have all feedback received through the survey link below by Friday, May 31st.
