Accepted Examinations:

  • Accepted Examinations: Electrical Contractor/Master Electrician, Journeyman Electrician, Residential Electrical Contractor
  • Utah does not accept a NASCLA Electrical examination as a standalone substitute for Utah examination         requirements. However, an applicant who holds an Electrician License issued by another state that utilized a NASCLA Electrical examination may be eligible for licensure by endorsement if all endorsement requirements are met. The examination must be accompanied by a qualifying out-of-state license and endorsement eligibility is determined in accordance with Utah law and rule.

 

The examination must be accompanied by a 12-month license issued in the state to which the exam was used.
