Accepted Examinations:

  • Accepted Examinations: Electrical Contractor/Master Electrician, Journeyman Electrician, Residential Electrical Contractor
  • Electrician License Classifications: If a candidate is applying for an electrician license classification, Utah may accept a NASCLA electrical exam when it is being used to meet exam requirements for an individual currently licensed out of state. Utah Residents: If the candidate is a Utah resident applying for an electrician license classification, they must meet Utah’s standard licensing requirements, which include successfully passing the state-required, state-sponsored examinations.

 

The examination must be accompanied by a 12-month license issued in the state to which the exam was used.
