This 60 minute informative webinar details a model complaint process and asks fundamental questions about exercising the agency’s statutory authority, receiving and giving notice of consumer complaints, and deciding to investigate.
The webinar continues with an analysis of an investigation, with a focus on the investigator, written reports and documentation, and open records implications. Throughout the duration of this webinar attendees are provided the opportunity to review an administrative prosecution and disciplinary action.
Finally, the webinar concludes with an inquiry into disciplinary hearings for due process and agency consistency, effective questioning of witnesses while maintaining impartiality, consistency in hearing procedures, having a clear administrative record, the use of technology for witness appearances, and the use of expert witnesses.
Attendees will have an opportunity to interact with comments and questions throughout the session.
