NASCLA offers educational training opportunities each year during the NASCLA Annual Conference.

NASCLA Investigator Training Program

The NASCLA Investigator Training Program is based on the NASCLA Investigator Training Modules developed by the NASCLA Model Legislation Committee. This training program is held in conjunction with the NASCLA Annual Conference and is a great opportunity for agency investigators to receive valuable information from top experts in legal and investigative matters.

Topics during the 2019 NASCLA 2-Day Investigator Training Program included the following:

  • The Investigative Process
  • Report Writing
  • Interview Techniques
  • Court Testimony

NASCLA Attorney Training Program

NASCLA will be holding a 4-Hour Attorney Training Program in conjunction with the NASCLA 2019 Annual Conference. This program is based on modules developed by the NASCLA Model Legislation Committee. Additional continuing legal education (CLE) credit will be given.

Topics during the 2019 NASCLA Attorney Training Program included the following:

  • Ethics
  • Role of the Board Attorney
  • Administrative Law
  • Legislature

NASCLA will be holding a 4-Hour State Agency Board Member Training Program in conjunction with the NASCLA 2019 Annual Conference.
