This 60 minute informative webinar will address the role of contractors licensing boards and how they are statutorily established and delegated with the authority to regulate the industry in the interest of public protection. Important topics will include legislative authorization, statement of purpose, legislative declarations, scope of authority, rulemaking, and enforcement. In addition, the role of the boards as related to the public/consumers and public outreach will be explored. Attendees will have an opportunity to interact with comments and questions throughout the session.
