The National Association of State Contractors Licensing Agencies (NASCLA) is proud to recognize and celebrate the 20-year anniversary of its Executive Director, Angie Whitaker. Since joining the organization in 2003, Angie has been instrumental in driving the association's mission and vision forward. During this time, Angie has worked diligently alongside the NASCLA Board of Directors, to enhance the services offered to NASCLA members by promoting the importance of contractor licensing, contractor mobility/portability, and consumer awareness.
Under Angie’s leadership, NASCLA has experienced significant growth and expanded its reach. During Angie’s tenure, the association membership grew from 16 state members to over 40! The association has launched many initiatives aimed at assisting NASCLA State Members in reducing barriers for contractor licensing. Angie’s dedication to the association helped establish NASCLA as a trusted resource for state contractor licensing agencies and the construction industry.
“We are excited to celebrate Angie reaching the 20th anniversary milestone,” said Stephanie Lee, current NASCLA President. “Angie embodies the traits that have propelled NASCLA’s success: hard work, commitment, and innovative leadership. She is a great role model, and we’d like to personally thank her for her daily contributions to the association.”
On behalf of the NASCLA community, we extend our heartfelt congratulations and appreciation to Angie Whitaker for her 20 years of exceptional service. Her contributions made a profound impact on the association and contractor regulatory industry and will continue to shape its future for years to come. NASCLA is honored to have Angie as its Executive Director and the NASCLA Board of Directors and Staff look forward to continuing our work together to promote best practices and license uniformity for agencies that regulate the construction industry.
